1; Today, I was surprised when I offered a lady a penny and she declined because her "wishes never came true". 2; Leaders give back in there community because it makes them feel closer, and giving back is a wonderful feeling. 3; I can give back to this school community by cleaning up for myself and others.

I was surprised about how may people said no to the pennies to make a wish in the fountain, they thought we wanted them to give us money in return
Leaders give back to their community because part of being a leader in including everyone, so when they give back, they are including the community in their leadership
I can do this in my school community by picking up a piece of trash that is laying on the ground, or holding the door for someone with their hands full
I was surprised that people where so either happy or not happy about the penny. Many people denied it because they thought they needed to pay for it (is it really that hard for humanity to do random acts of kindness anymore?), or people where so shocked and happy about us doing random acts of kindness that they gave us stuff (ex. Jolly Ranchers). Leaders give back to their community because they listen to their followers , which is a trait of a leader. I can do little things in our school that can become big things like picking up trash and helping pick up papers for a girl who dropped them.

1. Today I was surprised at Walnut Wednesday Maddie, Zoe, and I were filmed by spomeone who was filming the news for channel 3 so watch it at home to see if we are on!!!!! 2. Leaders give back to their community because it is the right and nice thing to do. It also makes them feel good inside and it makes them and others smile. 3. The way we can give back to or community is just by saying "Hello" to someone and brighten up their day or do different services to help people in your community that are needy
I was surprised how it was so hard to get rid of my pennies. People didn't seem to understand what we were trying to do. Afterwards though, they began to warm up and except the pennies.

At school, I could cheer people up by saying hello in the hallways or picking up trash when it was left behind.

i was surprised when we gave a girl a pin and note, she gave us a hair sample in return. when we tried to say no its fine she said we deserved it.

i can clean up trash even if it isn't mine and hold the doors open for everyone and tell them that they will do good on a test.
